Volkswagen has revealed the Tiguan X, its coupe SUV. Photos of the Tiguan X Coupe have been shared on social media. It is a coupe SUV with a sloping roof. The company has also shared some information about the design and features of this coupe car. The Tiguan X Coupe has been introduced to China, but soon the global model of this car will also be introduced.
The recently launched Tiguan SUV inspires the design of the Tiguan X Coupe. The Tiguan X Coupe features most features from the Tiguan SUV. The Tiguan coupe also features an LED daytime running light with LED projector headlight. It also has a chrome grille in three horizontal slots taken from the Tiguan SUV.
The front of the car has a sporty air intake vent and chrome skid plate. The rear of the car is sliding, which meets the tail section. Chrome finish has been given on the side of the windows of the can. The roof also has a chrome roof rail. Apart from this, the black outer rearview mirror and R-line badging have also been given in the car.
Talking about the engine, this car has a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine that provides 186 bhp power and 330Nm torque. The high-end variant offers 220 bhp power and 380 Nm torque.
The DSG (Dual Clutch) automatic gearbox is standard in the Tiguan X Coupe. This car will be made available in 4-wheel drive variants. Talking about the size, the Tiguan X Coupe is 4,764mm long, 1,859mm wide, and 1,628mm high.
Currently, the Tiguan X Coupe has only been revealed for the Chinese market. The company has not yet announced to bring it to other markets. Talking about India, the company will bring the facelift avatar of the standard Tiguan SUV in a few months.
The Volkswagen Tiguan, sold in India, has a 1.5-liter TSI turbo petrol engine. Its 5-seater variant is being manufactured in the country itself while the 7-seater variant is being imported.
